Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Sony MDRs
I got a pair of MDRs at least 4 years ago, they still work fine and are very tough. Great design and really good for joging or if you dont want to mess up your hair or wear a hat. They are ok for comfort. Only issue is they are not that loud and the bass is just the right side of enough. Overall though I would say they are a Sony Classic and worth every penny.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best headphones I've ever had
I've just bought my second pair of these, the first wore out after several years' regular use. They are particularly good for the gym or the beach as they are very secure. The sound quality is excellent too.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Very nice...
After at least 10 years of using "in-ear" style headphones and being thoroughly sick of the bad sound quality, breakages, tangling and constant slipping, I decided to look for some better quality headphones that wouldn't cost the Earth.

After a lot of searching, I settled on the Sony MDR-G52LPs. I'm the sort of person who needs music everywhere, whether I'm on a long train journey or just walking the 1/4 mile to work. These headphones stay in place no matter what I do, and I find the sound quality excellent for the price. I listen to a wide range of music (from Norwegian black metal through to classical) and find they handle each style well. I've seen some reviews with people complaining that they're not that loud - how deaf do you want to be? They may not be as loud as some other headphones, but they totally cover your ear and give a good feeling of being immersed in the music.

The only downside to these headphones I've found is that when I wear my glasses the soft plastic that goes over the top of the ear can press down and cause some friction and rubbing, but with a bit of jiggling things can be made more comfortable. I have multiple ear piercings but they haven't had any problems with these headphones. In fact I'm looking forwards to wearing them when temperatures drop a little to keep my stretched earlobes warm!

I'm very impressed with these headphones, and the cord is long enough so that I can plug them into my PC and have enough give for moving around or tucking the cord out of the way. Which is cetainly a bonus!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Best Of The Best

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Very good headphones
I bought these headphones a couple of weeks ago, and what can I say but these are great headphones,if you like your music on the move and are looking for an acceptable price, buy these. They are comfortable pair and you will won't even notice that they are there. My only criticism is that for me personally I enjoy my music VERY loud and these are not quite loud enough, but, I would definitely reccomend these 'phones to anyone, especially for this price.
