- At this price, a no-brainerThis is a well-made case, as is usual from Case Logic. It has a pair of belt-loops on the back, a loop with popper fastener on the right side [from the wearer's p.o.v.] and a carry loop on the top. It has a zippered compartment at the back, the main compartment has a fold-over cover which is closed by a zip and there are five compartments in the inside. There is an additional padded cover in the inside that folds over the CDs and the top of the player.
A player in this thing will survive a battering. The case is made of some sort of nylon material and everything is well padded all round with foam stuck to cardboard stiffener. How do I know this? Read on.
I bought my case to protect a Creative Nomad Jukebox MP3 player. This is a dead ringer for a CD player and there are no cases for it, not even from Creative. As an MP3 player, it doesn't need to be fed with media, so I don't need the 3 slots inside the case that are provided for CDs. If I did, I would not store CDs in them. By the time the player is in place it its compartment, the fit is so snug that the only way CDs could be slotted in would be in soft sleeves: no chance of using even the slim jewel cases. The problem with this is that the CDs would most likely warp because the back is not dead flat. With the player in place, the back zippered compartment will only take a folded plane ticket, at most, and the front pouch inside, ahead of the player, is ideal for a spare screen protector - no more.
The Jukebox in no fatso - it's 30mm thick. Even so, I found that in order to close the outer cover without straining the zip, I had to strip the padding out of the inner cover. That's how I know what they pad it with.
CD and MP3 players are expensive and need protection on the road. This case will definitely provide that but forget about the extra slots holding anything like CDs, batteries or leads. All your bits must travel elsewhere.

- Cheap and a perfect fit. This does exactly what it says on the tin! A perfect fit for most CD walkman fits all Sony's with no problem, a hole for the headphone cable and room for 3 CDs to be stored without cases.
It's ideal as a first case, or just to keep a walkman at home safe from damage. It is well made and at the price, it can't be faulted. There are flasher cases, but this is simple and practical.
